Apparentlly a flikr pool was setup for some of the images with the flickr tags librarian, librarians, librariantradingcards & tradingcard.

It looks like the flickr pool was setup, according to this post, after being inspired by this blog, Librarian Trading Cards, some of which are included in the flickr pool and also includes a Q & A with the librarian being carded and profiled.
